Grateful Hearts, Redeemed Lives

Grateful Hearts, Redeemed Lives

Wednesday, March 5, 2025

"Oh, give thanks to the Lord, for He is good! For His mercy endures forever. Let the redeemed of the Lord say so, Whom He has redeemed from the hand of the enemy." – Psalm 107:1-2 (NKJV)

Gratitude is more than a feeling; it’s an act of faith. When we reflect on God’s goodness, we see His mercy woven into every moment of our lives. He has redeemed us—not just in theory, but in reality. He has pulled us from darkness, from sin, from despair, and brought us into His marvellous light.

His mercy is unshakeable, unending, and unwavering.

Sometimes, life tries to make us forget this truth. Trials can cloud our perspective. Doubt can whisper that we are not truly free. But the Word of God reminds us: We are redeemed. And when the redeemed recognize their redemption, they say so!

This is our testimony. This is our song.

When God has set us free, we do not stay silent. We declare His goodness in our homes, our workplaces, and our communities. We live as people who have been saved, not just from something—but for something. For worship. For service. For love.

Ways We Can Show Thanks to the Lord Daily:

• Pray with gratitude – Begin and end your day by thanking God for His blessings, big and small.

• Worship with joy – Whether in song, in church, or in quiet moments, praise Him with all your heart.

• Live obediently – Honour God by following His Word and living out His truth.

• Serve others – Show gratitude by loving and serving those around you, just as Christ has served us.

• Share your testimony – Tell others how God has redeemed you and transformed your life.

• Give generously – Whether it's time, resources, or encouragement, give with a grateful heart.

• Walk in faith – Trust God daily, knowing His plans are good and His mercy endures forever.

So today, let’s do exactly what Scripture commands: Give thanks. Speak out. Live redeemed.

At Westside Bible Chapel, we are a family of the redeemed. We stand on His promises, celebrate His mercy, and proclaim His goodness together. We invite you to be part of this community, to share your testimony, and to grow deeper in faith.

Join us this Sunday. Come ready to worship. Come expecting God to move. Come with a heart of gratitude.

Let’s lift our voices and say so!
